About Me
My name is Binti DeProto-Strobel, I’m 23 years old, born and raised in Old Saybrook. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and turning that love into a career has been so rewarding. I started Wags with Binti to offer dependable, personal care to pets in my community. I’ve worked in a doggy daycare, built trust through Rover for over a year, and grew up surrounded by dogs and cats. My goal is to make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for while you’re away.
My Experience
I have a depth and variety of experience with dogs & cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve worked at a doggy daycare, where I handled multiple dogs at once in group settings, giving me valuable experience with a wide range of breeds and personalities. I’m very familiar with reading canine body language and making sure play stays safe and respectful.
I’ve also cared for both puppies and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable adjusting my care to their unique needs, whether it’s helping with early training for a new pup or making sure an older dog is comfortable and supported throughout the day.
In addition to my dog experience, I currently work at a cat boarding facility in Clinton. I‘m comfortable handling cats with a variety of personalities and I’m confident in reading feline body language. I have no trouble cleaning litter boxes, tidying runs, or handling messes. I’m happy to create a calm, stress free environment for them.
On top of that, I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life, which has taught me to be attentive, patient, and genuinely connected to each dog I spend time with.

Dog Walking

Whether your pup needs a quick stretch or a full hour of fresh air, I offer 30-minute - 90 minute walks tailored to their pace and energy. I make sure your dog gets exercise, sniff time, and lots of love!
Overnights
$75.00 (+$5 Additional Dog, Other pets may vary)
I stay overnight in your home to keep your pets safe, loved, and relaxed in their familiar space. Each stay includes evening and morning routines, walks, feeding, and plenty of one-on-one time.
